Officially launched Long Binh Station – Metro Line No. 1 in Ho Chi Minh City
This morning, October 13, 2020, the first Metro train of line 1 Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien was officially launched at Long Binh Depot Station in District 9, Ho Chi Minh City.
Metro train No. 1 consists of 3 carriages with a total length of more than 61m, can carry a total of 930 guests (147 seated and 783 standing). The maximum speed of the train reaches 110 km / h but when operating the average speed is about 40 km / h. In parallel with the train test, the electrical system, signal information (train control), rails… are also checked. According to the project progress, the next 16 trains will be imported in 2021.
Niem Tin Company Contractor (NTC) is proud to be one of the Metro line construction contractors with the scope of providing a building management system for the Metro project in Ho Chi Minh City – Line 1 – Package 2 with the scope of the job is to Provide Building Automation System at 11 stations, 04 Substations, Depot Area and walkways between stations and substations. Up to now, the works are still being implemented by NTC on schedule and with quality assurance according to project requirements.
